Welcome to the Groupsite for The Vermont Playwrights Circle.

This site is a meeting place that provides members of VTPlaywrights with a shared calendar, discussion forums, member profiles, photo gallery, file storage and more.

Some basic rules apply -

this forum is not public. Those who join need to be OK'd by the administrator.

1. Only post it if you would speak it face-to-face. Play nice here or you will be expelled.
2. members can post excerpts or even whole plays here to be shared with the group and commented on. These pieces are the sole property of the authors who posted them.
3. Members are not allowed to archive or keep copies of these files either electronically or in hard copy for longer than is necessary to read and comment back to members who posted them. This means if you print it and read/comment, you are asked to then shred or give the hardcopy back to the author within approximately 1 month unless otherwise arranged directly with the author.
4. Those who join the forum must provide the following information in order to be approved:

5. In order to participate in the group, you need to have the following in your profile:

   • A full phone number
   • email
   • mailing address
   • and a note on your genre/level of work in playwrighting. (all levels are welcome but we like to have an idea of what skills/interests our members have.)
   • A picture is optional and preferable, but not necessary.
     
     After this information has been provided, we will review it and approve members accordingly.
6. Those who join the forum must also be active. Post and give feedback 1 for 1 please, and if you want to post a huge document, be prepared to read and comment on several smaller or a similar sized play.
